This album is a homage to the Tony Williams Lifetime, the first true jazz rock band, featuring John McLaughlin, Larry Young, Tony Williams and later Jack Bruce on bass and vocals. The material is classic TWL and John Mclaughlin compositions, except tracks 3,5 and 8 which are original pieces improvised in the studio by DD.
